Body Talk Dance Company, established in 1985 in Windsor Park, focuses on commitment, passion, and community and strives to shape more confident and responsible young dancers.
Our mission has been to make high quality dance instruction accessible and affordable for all children with the desire to learn the craft.
Body Talk members take multiple technique classes weekly — ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop — and perform 3–4 times a year, compete, and attend local conventions to improve their skills.

From local showcases to community events, Body Talk dancers take the stage multiple times each season.
Compete
Body Talk dancers compete at regional competitions, putting their training to the test and gaining valuable performance experience.
Attend Conventions
Dancers attend local dance conventions to learn from guest instructors and expand their technique beyond the studio.
Train Weekly in Multiple Styles
Members take technique classes in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop — building a well-rounded foundation across all disciplines.
Technique Levels
Body Talk has four technique levels of increasing difficulty. Placement is determined in consultation with the teacher and company director during the enrollment process.
Tech Level 1
Foundation technique for newer company members. Emphasis on alignment, musicality, and core skills across all styles.
Tech Level 2
Intermediate technique building on Level 1 fundamentals. Increased complexity in combinations and performance quality.
Tech Level 3
Advanced technique for experienced company dancers. Focus on artistry, precision, and performance readiness.
Tech Level 4
Pre-professional level for the most advanced Body Talk dancers. Intensive training across all styles with a strong competition focus.
